July 23rd! Today, we flew from Johannesburg to Skukuza airport in the Sabi Sand area of Kruger National Park. It is in the Northeast Province of South Africa, not far from Mozambique. We were greeted by our friend Ekson (who turned out to be our tracker on each safari drive we did) and driven about 15 minutes to Kirkman's Kamp Lodge. We had a fantastic experience here. The people, the accommodations and the animals made our stay special. These are some highlights!

Baboons are very cranky but fun to watch. We missed the big fight right next to the jeep because we were so fascinated that we forgot to take pictures or videos:
